How BeepGo works
Four roles, one organised fleet, privacy enforced at the database level.
Roles on the platform
Fleet owner
You manage the fleet, team and daily operations from the console.
What you can do
- See the live fleet (drivers on shift + position)
- Dispatch tasks and manage the delivery pool
- Invite and manage the team (drivers, managers, mechanics)
- View fleet reports and performance
- Configure vehicles, rules and alerts
How privacy works
- You only see driver positions during their shift — never outside.
- The live position stops showing on the map when the shift closes.
- Drivers are informed that they are being located.
Cost & Subscription
- You are responsible for the account's subscription. You pay one seat per active driver — the manager and mechanic roles are free and do not use a seat.
Fleet manager
Operational management, free: see fleet status, dispatch tasks and manage the team and vehicles — without the live GPS map (that comes with the driver seat) or the owner's account, billing or ownership controls.
What you can do
- See who's on shift and the overall fleet status
- Dispatch tasks and manage the delivery pool
- Manage the team: invite and manage drivers and mechanics
- Edit, update and delete vehicle profiles (mechanic powers included) — always audited
- View fleet reports and performance
Owner-only
- Billing, subscription and buying seats
- Organisation ownership (transfer or delete) and sensitive settings
Want to drive and make deliveries?
- The manager does not have the delivery/driving map by default.
- To drive, activate the driver seat (paid) — you become a manager-driver, with everything the manager has + the delivery map.

- The manager role is free — it does not use a paid seat. Only driver mode (the delivery map) requires paying for a seat.
Driver
You use the app on shift to record journeys, stops and deliveries.
What you can do
- Open and close your work shift
- View your route and planned stops
- Record delivery proof (photo, signature, code)
- View your day's history
- Message the manager
What the manager sees during your shift
- Your live location while the shift is open
- Your delivery progress (completed / to do)
- Your shift start and end time
What the manager does NOT see
- Your location outside your shift
- Your breaks and free time
- Personal routes or off-hours movements
Cost & Subscription
- It's free for you. Your driver seat is paid by the company — never by you. You have nothing to pay to work with BeepGo.
Mechanic
Technical role, free: you manage vehicle maintenance and profiles without access to the fleet or map.
What you can do
- View and manage maintenance plans for fleet vehicles
- Receive pre-checks and write fault, suggestion and recommendation notes
- Edit vehicle profiles (documents and maintenance) and mark them in the workshop or out of service
What you don't see
- The live fleet — driver positions
- The map and vehicle routes
- Drivers' personal data
Cost & Subscription
- The mechanic role is free — it does not use a seat in your subscription.
The privacy wall
The split between work shifts and personal life is enforced by the database itself — it does not depend on any setting in the app. Drivers always know exactly what the manager sees and does not see.
